Some Commonly Asked Questions About How to Own a Greek Restaurant with Acropolis Greek Taverna

We seek serious investors and restaurant professionals who understand the potential of this opportunity. Restaurant or food service experience is required unless the franchise owner is partnered with an experienced, invested restaurant general manager. We are looking for financially qualified individuals who understand and appreciate that at Acropolis Greek Taverna, we offer guests an authentic Greek experience, from the menu items to the entertainment offerings.

At Acropolis Greek Taverna, we offer initial and ongoing training to our franchise owners, their operating partners, up to two managers, and their kitchen manager for up to three weeks at our flagship location. Further, members of our team will join new franchise owners at their location for up to two weeks around the launch of the business. In addition, franchisee teams will have access to our exclusive confidential operations manual to help operate their restaurants properly on a day-to-day basis.

The total initial investment necessary to begin operations ranges from $549,300 to $1,359,500 per location. This includes a $49,000 initial franchise fee for a single unit agreement. Fees and investments vary for multi-unit agreements; see our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) for details.

We do not provide direct financing to franchise owners, but financing is available through 3rd party lenders.

We charge a royalty fee equal to 4% of gross revenues. There is also currently a technology fee of $250 per month for use of the software customized for Acropolis Greek Taverna locations. Fees such as these allow us to fund our ongoing support services, training, and the continued development of products, recipes, supply channels, training programs, and systems upgrades to guide you when you own a Greek restaurant with our brand. Acropolis Greek Taverna franchise owners will spend 1% of gross revenues on local marketing in the first year of franchise operations on a rolling quarterly basis. Franchise owners will also contribute up to 3% into the system marketing fund, though for the first year in operation, the fee will be 0.5%. Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the Acropolis Greek Taverna brand.

The initial term of the agreement is ten years, with three subsequent successor agreement options of five years.
